"I was just in time to see the soldiers with Aycliffe. drag Bear through the open doors of a large building. It was the building i noticed before that stood directly opposite to the church."

I think that this is important because the house he got dragged into was lady Furnivals house and Ayecliffe is there so they might try to torture out of Bear where Crispin is. They also might put him under arrest for planning to overthrough them.

    "You're Lord Furnivals son."
    "how can that be?"
"Who did you think your father was."
My Mother only said my father died before I was born.'
I think this is important becuase he is a boy, so he is technicaly next in line after Lord Furnival, and earlierer in the book it said that Lady Furnavil will do anything to stop threats to her power. Crispin is a threat for her power so now she might send her soldiers to look for him and try to kill him.

I looked back towards Bear. He had just begun to climb the wall when the soldiers burst out of the house and into the garden.
"Go, Crispin," Bear cried. "Get out of the city. It's you they want not me."
I think that this verse it significant because it shows that Crispin might be the lost son of Lord Furnival and that they are going to try to hunt him down because he is a threat to Lady Furnival.

"Bear," I shouted, "soldiers are coming!"
At the sound of my voice, he leaped up and spun around to face me. "Where?"
    "On the street."
I think this section is important because it shows how well Bear knows Crispin and how he cares for what is happening to Crispin.

And Bear came to know it but didn't tell me. He was shielding me from the poison in my blood.
Now he had been taken, most likely to be killed. All because of me.
This passage is important to the book because Crispin is contemplating if it was his fault or not
    that Bear got caught
